injury update for Manchester United before Bournemouth game

Manchester United host Bournemouth this weekend as they look to continue their fine start under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Solskjaer has now taken charge of two matches as United’s interim boss.

The first saw United travel to Cardiff. Cardiff have a decent home record this season but United would come away with a 5-1 win.

Man United’s latest game saw them take on a struggling Huddersfield side.

United would come away with a 3-1 win with Paul Pogba scoring a brace. Manchester United are still in sixth place heading into the weekend’s games.

They are six points behind 5th place Arsenal but four points above 7th place, Leicester City.

Bournemouth, on the other hand, head into the United game 12th in the league.

Bournemouth enjoyed a superb start to the season but their form has dipped a bit in recent weeks.

A win for the Cherries could see them move as high as 7th.

However, Eddie Howe’s side will be without Simon Francis who has been ruled out with a long-term injury.
injury update

While Bournemouth have suffered a big injury blow, Manchester United could welcome back three players for Sunday’s clash.

Alexis Sanchez has been out for some time but the winger will be assessed before Bournemouth.

Romelu Lukaku has also missed United’s first two games under Solskjaer but the Belgian could be set to return this weekend.

United could also welcome back Anthony Martial on Sunday after the Frenchman missed out vs Huddersfield.
