With Qarabag the whipping boys of the group, Antonio Conte will likely want to rotate the team as the Blues prepare for the hectic December fixtures.
Conte will however be forced to leave some players out of the team for tonight’s game due to injuries.
The Italian confirmed the duo of Victor Moses and Michy Batshuayi are certainly out of the match, during his press conference last night. Moses has missed the last eight Chelsea games in all competitions due to a hamstring injury. He was also missing in Nigeria’s dead rubber World Cup qualification match against Algeria a few days ago, as well as the Super Eagles’ friendly match against Argentina a few days later.

Aside from the first team duo of Moses and Batshuayi, Chelsea will also be without youth team prospects Kenedy and Musonda. Conte however has good news for Chelsea fans on Eden Hazard. The Belgian scored and assisted a goal against West Brom over the weekend, and Conte has confirmed Hazard came out of the weekend match with no new problems, and is available for selection for tonight’s clash.
Providing an update on the injury situation at Chelsea, Conte had this to say‘Hazard is fit and no new injuries. ‘Batshauyi and Moses are not available for tomorrrow’s game, also Musonda and Kenedy.
‘Kenedy had a little muscular problem, but I think he is very close to be back with us
