According to a report from UOL Sports, Paris Saint-Germain superstar Neymar is growing weary of the tactical lessons of manager Unai Emery.

Scintillating form

Neymar, who arrived at the Parc des Princes in a world-record transfer from Barcelona this summer, has started off his career in the French capital in typically brilliant fashion, having racked up 10 goals and 7 assists in 11 appearances between Ligue 1 and the Champions League.

However, as has been widely covered in the media, it has been far from smooth sailing for the Brazilian in France, with his public falling out with teammate Edinson Cavani having led many to question whether PSG’s glut of egos could gel together effectively.

Further to this, Le Parisien yesterday claimed that some of Neymar’s other teammates had become frustrated with the special treatment being received by the South American attacker.

The report outlined a number of privileges held solely by the 25-year-old, including a pair of personal physiotherapists, and an exemption from defensive duties during matches.

And, as per the aforementioned report from UOL Sports, Neymar’s teammates are not the only ones growing weary of his treatment in Paris, with the former Santos standout himself becoming fed up with the lengthy tactical lessons of manager Unai Emery.

It is claimed that PSG’s Spanish tactician holds regular half-hour video analysis sessions with Neymar, in an attempt to mould him into more of a team player on the pitch, as opposed to an individual.

However, while the Selecao star has no issue with occasional sessions where areas of possible improvement are highlighted, it is the length and consistency of these meetings which are said to be bothering him.

Neymar has reportedly already informed his teammates of his frustration, but does not plan to take the matter to the club.
