Lionel Messi causes Cristiano Ronaldo to blame Marco Asensio for poor form

Real Madrid waltzed to the La Liga and Champions League titles last year, becoming the first team to retain the former in its modern format.
Ronaldo initially looked to be waning at the start of the campaign, but responded by rediscovering his best form and ending the campaign with a huge 42 goals from 46 games.
However, despite scoring five from seven, the Portugal international is struggling to match the exploits of fierce rival Lionel Messi.
And Spanish outlet Diario Gol say Cristiano Ronaldo is envious of the Barcelona star.
The Argentina international is struggling for his country, with the South American side’s World Cup hopes hanging in the balance.
But, over at the Nou Camp, the 30-year-old is arguably enjoying the best run of his career.
Messi has already hit two hat-tricks this season - against Espanyol and Eibar - meaning he has 14 goals from 11 appearances across all competitions.
Diario Gol say Ronaldo feels Messi only performs as well as he does because he is the focal point of their team.
But the former Manchester United forward thinks things are ran differently at Real.
He supposedly feels Asensio is selfish and does not give him the service he deserves.

Part of that may stem from jealousy, with the 21-year-old now regarded as a potential heir for Ronaldo.
Additionally, he also feels Dani Ceballos and Isco have their own agendas.
Meanwhile, Ronaldo thinks his exploits for Portugal are proof he remains as ruthless as ever.
The veteran scored as Fernando Santos’ team beat Andorra 2-0 on Saturday night - despite starting the World Cup qualifier on the bench.
Santos explained that decision after the game, saying it was because he had not been 100 per cent in training.
“I thought a lot. I thought, well, Ronaldo did not train 100 per cent in two of the days of work,” Santos said.
“There were many factors that led to this decision. Games are complicated, I tried to manage and do what was best.
“Whether it was questionable or not… we ended up winning and that’s what matters.
“We knew it was going to be difficult and it was notable the team had difficulties adapting to the pitch, and then with their defence very close, [we were] lacking momentum.
“I had to put Ronaldo on the field, another forward and everything improved.”
