Real Madrid have joined Liverpool in the race for Germany star Timo Werner.
The 21-year-old was in impressive form for RB Leipzig last season and he was top scorer at the 2017 Confederations Cup for his country in the summer.
Europe's biggest clubs are now taking an interest in the forward and Liverpool are particularly keen.
However, according to Sport 1, the Reds need to be wary as Real Madrid are sniffing around Werner too.
The Spanish club have been watching the German and believe he is a future star in the making.
RB Leipzig, however, are reportedly very reluctant to sell Werner after already agreeing to let Naby Keita join Liverpool next summer.
