Paris Saint-Germain ‘working hard’ to beat Manchester City in race for Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez - REPORTS
Paris Saint-Germain are working hard on a deal to sign Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez, according to reports in his native Chile.
Sanchez is out of contract at the end of the season and able to walk away as a free agent, with a number of clubs desperate to land him.
Manchester City almost completed a deal for him during the transfer window while Bayern Munich have been strongly linked with the forward for months now.
But, according to El Mercurio, French giants PSG have stepped up their pursuit of Sanchez as they plot next summer's spending.
As a non-English club, PSG are allowed to begin talks with the striker in January regarding a pre-contract agreement.

It has been reported that they would even be willing to hand Sanchez a £10million signing-on bonus in a bid to convince him to join.
PSG are under extreme pressure to somehow stay within Financial Fair Play rules after signing Neymar for £203.6m and Kylian Mbappe for a deal worth around £165m.
However, in order to keep within FFP parameters, PSG signed Mbappe on loan with the deal set to be made permanent in the summer.
This mean they would not be able to spend big on any other signings, so the free transfer of Sanchez is seen as the perfect deal.
