Paul Pogba could well face a fight to be back playing for Manchester United before the next international break according to reports in the Telegraph, that claim the player’s injury is not as simple as United had hoped.
While they’re still confident he won’t need surgery, the player is looking at a November return – something Jose Mourinho could do without given the other injuries that are piling up in his side – not to mention the fact that Pogba was looking like a top class player this season and showing exactly why United decided to bring him back to the club.
Despite his injury, the report also claims that Pogba is in good spirits and is happy around the other players and in training – and has not let his time away from match action impact his mood.
Mourinho was speaking about the injuries his squad face, and claimed that Fellaini was lucky not to be out for a long period of time.
He said: “So there are not many solutions, but we try not to focus on individual battles or in specific areas on the pitch.
