Liverpool’s squad for their Champions League group stage clash with Spartak Moscowhas confirmed that Roberto Firmino, Mohamed Salah, Philippe Coutinho and Sadio Mane could all line up together.
The Anfield side flew out to Russia this afternoon ahead of their game on Wednesday night.
It’ll be one Jurgen Klopp will be desperate to win after drawing 2-2 at home in their opening group stage game.
And Liverpool’s case will be helped with the prospect of Firmino, Salah, Coutinho and Mane all playing together from the start for the first time this season.
While Firmino and Salah have both been available since the start of the campaign, Coutinho and Mane have been unavailable for different reasons.
Coutinho’s first start of the season came against Burnley on September 16th and he’s been in the team for matches against Leicester since.
But Mane hasn’t been available after being given a three-game ban for the high kick on Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson Moraes at the start of the month.
That’s only a domestic ban though so Mane should return to the team tomorrow – and he’s likely to form a potent attack alongside Firmino, Coutinho and Salah.
And that is enough to get Liverpool fans excited.
