What Chelsea starlet said after scoring his first Premier League goal

Tammy Abraham was understandably left delighted after he notched his first Premier League goal on Saturday.

The Chelsea youngster, on loan at Swansea City this season, scored the opening goal as the Swans won 2-0 at Crystal Palace.

It promises to be the first of many goals for the 19-year-old, who last season netted 26 times in all competitions for Bristol City.

Swansea manager Paul Clement was also thrilled to see this young charger get off the mark in his third Premier League appearance, telling the Telegraph that “he’s got a good smell for where the ball is going to go.”

Abraham’s goal came at the perfect time for his new club as it was the first time that Swansea have netted this season.
After the match, he took to Twitter to express his delight.

BIG BIG WIN !! Nice to take 3 points back and over the moon with my first Premier league goal 🎉⚽️time for the international break.
He said: “BIG BIG WIN! Nice to take 3 points back and over the moon with my first Premier League goal. Time for the international break. #JackArmy”
Abraham now joins up with England’s under-21 squad on international duty as they begin their 2019 UEFA under-21 European Championship qualifying campaign with matches against Netherlands and Latvia.
The youngster will be hoping that more impressive performances for his country will further mark himself out as a star of the future.
