Barca still pushing hard to make €150m Coutinho bid

Barcelona are preparing a fourth and final offer of €150m (£138m) for Liverpool playmaker Philippe Coutinho, say reports.

The English club have already knocked back three offers from the Blaugrana for the former Inter attacker but the player has handed in a transfer request at Anfield.

Skysports now report that despite Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp’s insistence that ‘the situation has 100% not changed’, there is belief in Catalonia the player is willing to force through a move.

Recent Barca bids have fallen short primarily due to the lack of money being offered in an upfront lump sum payment, with the transfer fee instead staggered over a series of instalments.

Mundo Deportivo’s front cover on Thursday report the two clubs will negotiate for the Brazilian in Monaco for the Champions League draw, while Rac1 also reported the two clubs are still in talks.
