​Leicester becomes favourite for Man City striker Iheanacho

Leicester City have emerged as favourites to sign Manchester City forward Kelechi Iheanacho.

West Ham United were close to agreeing a £25m deal for the Nigerian, but they have decided to drop their interest.

The Hammers reluctance has worked out for Leicester, who will now hone in on completing a deal for the 20-year old.

Manager Craig Shakespeare will have to wait to make his third signing of the summer until after Iheanacho returns from holiday.

The Foxes have secured Hull City's Harry Maguire and Sevilla midfielder Vicente Iborra.
