Sheyi Ojo is in high demand following his success with England in the Under-20 World Cup in South Korea earlier this month.
The winger's performances are said to have attracted the attention of Newcastle, Middlesbrough and Burnley who want to take him on loan.
However, the Liverpool Echo claim the Reds have rejected all three approaches for the 20-year-old as they assess their squad for the 2017/18 season.
Jurgen Klopp reportedly wants Ojo to report to Melwood for pre-season before making a decision on his short-term future.
A loan deal for Ojo is reportedly still on the cards but will only be considered later in the transfer window.
The winger joined Liverpool from MK Dons in 2011 and has since progressed through the academy to make 13 senior appearances for the Reds.
However, his progress in the first team was hampered last term with a back problem which limited him to just one appearance all season.
Ojo has previously had loan spells with Wigan and Wolves.
Speaking about his position at Liverpool in March, he said: “As a young player there’s always going to be ups and downs and it’s been hard for me getting injured and then coming back and not really getting an opportunity.
“But I’ve had to dig deep with the support of the staff and I feel that I’m getting better in every game.
“My work ethic’s probably been the best it’s ever been since I’ve been playing football, which is obviously a positive.
“I’m more direct when I get the ball like the manager wants me to be. So hopefully I’m heading in the right direction.”
