Craig Shakespeare has been whisked away for talks over the Leicester City manager's job by the club's owners, according to reports.
Sky Sports are reporting the 53-year-old will sit down with the club's owners in Nice and then move onto this weekend's Monaco Grand Prix.
Shakespeare attended Monday night's League Managers' Association dinner and awards in London.
Shakespeare took over the City hot seat after the sacking of Claudio Ranieri in February and guided the team to Premier League safety and to the quarter finals of the Champions League.
His managerial contract was only until the end of the season and he repeatedly said talks over whether he would carry on in the position next season would take place at the end of the campaign.
Shakespeare does have a contract as an assistant manager for next season and if City decide they want a new man to come in he may be asked to step back down to a support role, but it is expected the talks will involve plans for next season with him in charge.
"It's obviously my time to listen and to see what happens," said Shakespeare.
"Of course I've got my own ideas of how I'd like to do things and implement things and how I think we can go forward.
"But it's a time to listen and see what the owners decide."
