Danny Welbeck Says I’m coping well with my return

After missing the first five months of the season, Danny Welbeck would have bitten your hand off if you had told him he would feature in all but one of our 12 games since the start of April.
The England forward even played an important role during his seven-minute cameo in the Emirates FA Cup semi-final, assisting Alexis’ winner against Manchester City, and is looking forward to making a similar impact in Saturday’s showdown with Chelsea.
“It has been difficult obviously coming back from injury and getting into the team and out of it,” Welbeck said. “I have just got to make sure I'm integrated well into the team, not just a certain amount of games one after the other.

“My body has got to get used to the training load and playing in the matches so you do get your niggles here and there, it's something you have got to cope with. But I feel like I'm coping pretty well and have had no major reaction with my knee.

“I’ve not [played three games in a week],” Welbeck added. “But I'm looking forward to building on the stage I'm at at the moment and obviously in the future I hope I will be playing three games in a week.”
