Good news for Liverpool as scen result shows Mamadou Sakho has not damaged his anterior cruciate ligament.
This is a boost to Liverpool FC.
The France international is set to miss the rest of the season but the news on his knee injury is much better than was initially feared which means he may play before end of the season.
The scan has revealed that Sakho suffered only bruised and strained knee ligaments.
The on-loan Reds centre-back was stretchered off early in the second half of Crystal Palace’s 1-0 defeat to Tottenham at Selhurst Park on Monday night.
