Bayern Munich has now officially announced they will sign Kingsley Coman permanently from Juventus.
Coman has spent the last two seasons on loan, with the option to make the deal permanent for €21m.
“Before the match with Wolfsburg on Saturday, an important personnel decision was made by Bayern Bayern Munich officials,” the Bundesliga club announced on their official website.
“They have agreed to take up their option with Juventus which expires at the end of April for Kingsley Coman.
“The French international, who left Juventus to join Bayern on loan since 2015 will remain in Munich beyond the end of this season. Coman's new contract runs until 30.06.2020.”
CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge also commented on the deal.
“Kingsley Coman is an important building block for the future of our team so we have decided to exercise our option.
“He has a huge potential. We're convinced that he will be of great help to us in the coming years.”
