Manchester United have vowed to pay the sum of £120 visa costs for every supporter who travels to watch the Europa League clash with FC Rostov.
United faces the Russian side in the last-16 of the competition with the first-leg taking place at the Rostov Arena on March 9.
Fans wanting to travel were facing the prospect of having to pay £118.20 on top of the flights, match tickets and accommodation in order to secure a Russian visa.
But now the Daily Mail report that United will refund the costs for anyone who goes.
United are expected to take around 500 supporters to Rostov, which is to the east of Ukraine, for the fixture.
It is a massive 3,744-mile round-trip for those who secured their ticket in the ballot.
Fans will have to sort their own travel documents, as there is a visa application centre in Manchester, but they can then send a receipt and the club will contact them to arrange the refund.
The gesture could cost United up to £60,000.
